For sale is this very fine large heavy Silver centre seconds chronograph by the excellent maker Thomas Russell no 83109 and dating to the late Victorian period. With a diameter of approx 58mm, excluding the bow section, this very fine key wound pocket watch retains its original tight fitting undamaged case and inner cover. Fully signed undamaged dial with matching numbers to the fully hall marked Thomas Russell silver case and movement cover. The super fine fully signed gilt movement is jeweled to the centre and again has matching numbers the the rest of the watch. This fine watch has under gone a full rebuild inluding a new chain and balance work and is now in full working order including the chronograph stop function. A very tactile large pocket watch from an excellent maker from the Victorian period.
