Gents 1920s Tavannes Cushion Cased Wrist Watch

Description

Gents 1920s Tavannes cushion cased wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 31mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31mm high excluding the lugs … a good size for a 1920s cushion case. The case is the gold plated Moon model by the English based watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in very good condition.

The lens has minor marking but is very acceptable.

The dial is in lovely condition and has handsome blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
