The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the crown. The case is 800 silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside both of the case backs together with maker’s and sponsor’s marks. There are minor marks to the case and some rubbing to the engine turned detail but overall the condition is good.

The plastic lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, F Broms, Målilla. The dial is in beautiful condition and the ornate hands, typical of Scandanavian pocket watches, are a charming feature. Originally the hands would have initially been set by way of the pin-set mechanism but this has been altered over the years so that they can be set the conventional way, ie, by pulling the winding crown up and adjusting as necessary.
