Description

An unusual, high quality French table regulator clock. The brass inlaid, ebonised rectangular case has a heavy brass bezel and a very thick bevel edge glass. The silvered dial has two subsidiary dials one of which denotes the week of the month and subsequent time to add of subtract to establish solar time. It has a centre seconds hand and below a subsidiary 12 hour clock dial. The well engineered movement has a dead beat escapement and a heavy brass pendulum with a wooden rod encased in brass. It is of 14+ days duration with a single wind.

Current Condition

The case has been revived, the movement has been serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
