Oak Lancet Top Striking Mantel Clock

1900 - 1920
Description

An Edwardian, solid oak mantel clock, having a lancet top case, canted and reeded corners, and brass ball feet. The enamel dial has a brass bezel with a bevel edge glass, and is signed by the original retailers, Mappin and Webb of London. It has a French 8 day movement that sounds the hours and halves on a gong that was made by Samuel Marti of Paris.

Current Condition

The case is in excellent original condtion, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking, please email us.
