Early 19th Cent Mahogany Long Case Clock

Description

A handsome 19th Cent longcase clock of nice small size. It is by Thomas Almey of Sheepshead, Leics. He worked there in the early 19th Cent.

The Mahogany case is a lovely colour and has retained its original finish

The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a most attractive painted dial.

Both case and movement are in good condition and it is keeping good time. There is a small section of the dial mask missing but this is not visible with the hood door closed.

The maximum dimensions are:

212cm (83.5") high

49cm (19") wide

25cm (10") deep
