Striking Sliver Plated Carriage Clock (France, C. 1890)

Description

A large, late 19th Century striking and alarm carriage clock. It has a reeded carrying handle with an ovoid section frame, a bevel edge top glass and a clear enamel Roman numeral dial. The 8 day lever platform movement sounds the hours and 1/2's on a gong and has a separate alarm mechanism. The movement is numbered 2252

Current Condition

The case has been re-silver plated, the movement has been serviced in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a video clip of this clock striking please email us.
