Gents 1950s Smiths De Luxe Watch, Made in England

Description

Gents 1950s Smiths De Luxe wrist watch, Made in England.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two to three minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition with just a little wear to the ends of the lugs. The snap-on case back is stainless steel.

The lens is in good condition.

The textured dial is in good condition with dauphine hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
