Description

A 1920s Swiss full hunter pocket watch with chain and swivel fob.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Illinois Watch Case Co. Inside the hinged case back it states that the case is 'guaranteed for 10 years' - this would have related to the plated finish. The case is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark. The front cover has monogrammed initials.

The plastic lens is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The dial is in nice condition and it has blued steel hands.

The watch comes with a watch chain, or albert, which measures 30cm long including the T-bar and the clasp and also a swivel fob with a bloodstone and carnelian.
