Early 19th Cent Mahogany Longcase Clock with Moon Dial

19th century
Description

This is a really lovely early 19th Cent longcase clock of nice small proportions.

The dial is signed Lock of Bath, there are several makers by that name working in Bath, this is probably William Lock who worked between 1822 and 1830. The case is in beautifully figured mahogany and is in good original condition.

The good quality 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a most attractive painted dial with moon phase indicator to the arch.

The movement is nice and clean and keeping good time and the moon dial and date indicator work as they should.

The maximum dimensions are:

208cm (82") high (excluding top finial + 10cm (4")

48cm (19") wide

24cm (9.5") deep

Free local delivery and set up (70mls), national and international delivery arranged at cost
