Description

Antique 14ct gold filled Waltham Traveler full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is stamped American Waltham U.S.A. Traveler and the serial number 12,124,498which dates the watch back to 1904.

The watch measures 50.5 mm diameter excluding the stem. The 14ct gold filled case was made by the Dennison Watch Case Co and was originally guaranteed for 25 years. The front cover opens as it should by pressing the winding crown in. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition. The front cover has monogrammed initials.

The glass watch lens is in nice condition.

The dial has a faint surface scratch between 11 & 12 o'clock although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
