Small Solid Oak Arch Top Bracket Clock

Description

An exceptionally good quality and small bracket clock. The solid arched oak case has ornate fret work sides, and raided decoration to the frnot. It has a cast brass bezel with a bevel edge glass. The engraved and silvered dial is signed by the retailer "Curtis & Horspool, to HM The King,

Leicester".

The 8 day movement has a lever platform movement and strikes the hours and halves on a gong, it was made by Gillet and Johnston of Croydon, who are still in business today as bell founders.
