The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is hallmarked inside the case back for London 1914 with the maker’s mark of W&D for Wilsdorf & Davis, the founders of Rolex. Marconi, along with other brands such as Unicorn and Rolco, were sold alongside the Rolex watches, as a sister brand, in order to take a bigger slice of the watch market.

The watch glass is in good order.
The enamel dial is in good condition with just a little paint loss to the numbers, and some of the infill has come out of the hands.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
