Rare Ww2 USA Air Force Issue Sector Clock, by Seth Thomas, Circa 1942

1920 - 1940
Description

On offer is this rare WW2 USA Air Force issue Sector Clock by Seth Thomas, circa 1942. This is in original unrestored condition, it retains its original fully signed Sector dial, (aged) and hands set, original hard rubber or early plastic undamaged case, including bezel and glass and its original inner cork bezel insert. Fully signed movement has been recently serviced and is now in fine full working order. This type of Sector clock was used by both the USA Air Force as well the USA Navy during WW2. For an identical clock please refer to page 180 British Military Timepieces by Konrad Knirim. The clock is approx 26cm in diameter by 7cm in depth.
