British Rail Southern Region Pocket Watch by Limit No 5596, Post 1948

Description

For sale is this very good British Rail Southern Region issue pocket watch no BR(S)5596, by Limit, post 1948. The watch is fitted with the good quality Limit No2 15 jewel Swiss movement and is in full working order keeping time. The excellent dial is signed Limit No2 and is free from restoration or damage other than the faintest of hairlines which are only seen under my high resolution camera lens, i cannot see them using my naked eye. Screw front and back case in excellent condition, retaining its original front glass. British Rail Southern is a less common region.
