19th Cent French Comptoise Clock

Description

A very decorative French Comptoise wall clock. It is in working order and is complete with weights, pendulum and winding key.

The enamel white dial has a few fine cracks but is generally in good condition and is signed by the maker Pierre Vaudois.

Unusually this clock strikes the hours on both a bell and a coiled gong and the half hours on a gong.

The maximum dimensions are:

145cm(57”) high

28cm(11”) wide

17cm(7”) deep
