An Antique Waltham Traveler in Super Condition

1900 - 1920
Description

An antique Waltham Traveler in super condition.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, Model 1908, which is working very nicely. The movement is signed American Waltham, USA, Traveler and it has the serial number 19373650 which dates it back to 1913. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gold filled case was made by the Illinios Watch Case Company and it has a exquisitely detailed back. The case and the glass are in the most beautiful condition, this really is a superb example.

The signed enamel dial is also in very good order with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
