The sides have ringed handles and brass fish-scale fret panels and it is supported on ball feet.
The 8-day movement strikes hours on a bell and retains its original precision adjustable pendulum. Good painted convex dial; original hands; cast brass bezel and convex glass. A good quality bracket clock.
Signed Nicoll of London; probably William Nicoll who worked in London 1827-1858.
