Vintage 1920s Avis stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Avis, 7 jewels unadjusted, Swiss made.

The pocket watch measures 50.6 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The gold plated case is the Victory model from the Philadelphia watch case co U.S.A.. The case has some surface marks from use but overall is in good condition for its age. The inner case back has light surface scratches where the back has been opened over the years.

The watch glass is in nice condition.

The dial is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
