Antique Thomas Russell Premier stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is signed Thomas Russell & son, Liverpool, Premier, Swiss made.

The watch measures 50.9 mm diameter excluding the stem & crown. The gold plated case is stamped Illinous Watch Case Co, Elgin. U.S.A. The "Russell" model and This case guaranteed to wear 10 years. The case has light surface marks from use and a small "ding" to the back but overall it is in nice condition.

The glass watch lens has faint surface marking although very acceptable.

The dial is signed Thomas Russell & Son, Liverpool, Premier with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.(the sub second hand is later although vintage).
