Gents Omega Wrist Watch, 1954

1940 - 1960
Description

Gents Omega wrist watch.

The watch has a calibre 266 movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one minute or so over 24 hours. The movement is signed with the Omega name and it has the serial number 14,107,583 which dates it back to 1954.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition with just minor surface marks. The crown is a later replacement. The snap on case back has the Omega triangular mark inside.

The lens is in good condition.

The dial is in its original finish and it has the applied Omega logo, original dauphine shaped hands and a subsidiary seconds dial. There is some marking which is mainly around towards the perimeter of the dial.

A new blue leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
