Gents 1950s Girard Perregaux Gyromatic Wrist Watch

1940 - 1960
Description

Gents 1950s Swiss Girard Perregaux Gyromatic wrist watch.

The watch has an automatic movement, with 17 jewels, which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The rotor is signed with the Girard Perregaux name.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is plated and there is quite a lot of wear and marking. The stainless steel case back has the Girard Perregaux logo inside. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The signed dial is in good condition with original hands, centre seconds hand and outer minute markers.

A later leather strap has been fitted.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
