Cross Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
I cant find an entry for this maker but it probably dates from the 19th Cent. It is unusual in that it strikes the half hours on a bell and the hours on a large coiled gong.

The case is in very nicely figured mahogany with fretwork sides and carved base. The hood has Corinthian capitals and a brass mount to the pagoda top.
The movement is in good working order and keeping good time. The case has a few chips (particularly where the trunk meets the base) but is in presentable condition.
The maximum dimensions are:
223cm(88") high
50cm(19.5") wide
29cm(11.5") deep
