The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The movement is signed Chs Tissot & Fils and it has the serial number 3,391,472 which dates it back to 1955.

The watch measures 30mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs … it is classed as a mid sized watch so it would suit a man with a slim wrist or it could be worn by a lady. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1955 with a maker’s mark for the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just light surface marks.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed black dial has the raised Tissot name, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. If you look quite closely, there is some marking to the sub seconds dial and a little marking around the perimeter.
A new dark reddish brown leather strap has been fitted.
