Masons Antiques has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
The 8 day, pendulum movement strikes on a bell on the half-hour and the hour. It has just been fully overhauled by our BHI registered staff.
The white enamelled dial has a cast brass bezel and bevelled glass. It has a Brocot open escapement and black Roman numerals.
The clock has a large glazed opening to the lower half of the case in which the very attractive brass pendulum can be seen in motion.
