A Good Sized 1940s Gents Trisa Wrist Watch

1920 - 1940
Description

A good sized 1940s gents Trisa wrist watch in super condition.

The watch has a Swiss hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes or so over 24 hours. The movement would have been exported to Germany to be cased and subsequently retailed.

In the 1940s, the fashion was for smaller watches so this example, at 35mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs, is a great size for today’s fashions, and very wearable. The case and the lens are in wonderful condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish and it is in very good condition with just light marking. It has the most charming appearance and is very stylish.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
