A 1920s Swiss Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Description

A 1920s Swiss full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes or so over 24 hours. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding. The full hunter case is gold plated and was made by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. There is a small patch of unevenness to the case back but overall the case is in good condition. As so often happens, the front cover needs a little help with a thumbnail to open.

The plastic lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in good condition with just a little discolouration to the subsidiary seconds dial.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
