18th Cent 8 Day Oak Longcase Clock

Description

A smart 18th Cent oak longcase clock by John Morse of Southampton, he is listed as working there in the late 18th Cent.

The 8 day movement strikes the hours on a bell and has a very smart silvered dial. It has some nice engraved decoration, a date indicator and the all important strike/silent selector to the arch.

The case is in good original condition but does have a piece of moulding missing from the LH side of the base.

The maximum dimensions are:

211cm(83") high

49cm(19") wide

24cm(9.5") deep

Free local delivery and set up (50mls), national and international delivery arranged at cost.
