Antique Utk Full Hunter Fob Watch & Albertina

1900 - 1920
Description

Small antique Universal Time Keeper full hunter fob watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around five minutes over 24 hours. The movement is signed Universal Time Keeper.

The watch is smaller than standard at 42mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The gilded case has an Art Nouveau inspired design on both the front and back. The crown is pushed down to release the front cover.

The watch has a plastic lens which is in good condition.

The signed white dial is in good condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The hands are lever set which means that to initially set the time, a small lever underneath the number 5 is pulled out, the crown is turned to move the hands clockwise, and then the lever is pushed back in.

The watch comes with a pretty albertina.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
