A Vintage 1920s Syren Full Hunter Pocket Watch

Description

A vintage 1920s Syren full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The nicely jewelled movement is stamped Syren, Swiss made.

The watch measures 50.6 mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Illinous Watch Case Co. The case has light surface marks from use but overall it is in nice condition.

The watch lens is glass and is in nice condition.

The watch has an enamel dial. The dial has a faint hairline crack and slight nibbling to the centre although hardly noticeable but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has blued steel hands.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
