Ww1 Silver Trench Watch with Screw Front and Back Case for Extra Water Proof Protection, Circa 1915

Description

For sale is this very fine WW1 Silver trench watch with screw front and back case for extra water proof protection, circa 1915. The watch is the large version with a case diameter of 35mm excluding the winding crown or silver strap wires. The Silver case is made by Dennison and has full hall marks and matching numbers thoughout the case. There is only the odd slight dings and scratches to the case, and both front and back covers retain screw threads that are in excellent condition. The dial is without any damage or hairlines and the hand set retains part of their original luminous infill. The fine 15 jewel movement is in full working order and possibly retains its original leather strap. This is a very fine survivor from WW1.
