Vintage Gents 1929 Silver Wrist Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Vintage gents 1929 silver wrist watch.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within 2 - 3 minutes over 24 hours. The movement is stamped 15 jewels, Swiss made.

The watch measures 26.4 mm wide excluding the winding crown and 31.5 mm high excluding the lugs. The case is sterling silver and there are Glasgow import marks for 1929. The case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The silvered dial has light discolouring / faint surface marking but overall it is in nice condition for its age.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
