An Antique Pocket Watch and Chain, Circa 1910s

Description

An antique pocket watch and chain, circa 1910s.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is beautifully patterned. It is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around one to two minutes or so over 24 hours.

The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is quite chunky and has a screw-on bezel and back. It is in good condition.

The glass has minor marks.

The white dial is in lovely condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a white metal double albert with each chain measuring 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
