The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch is a good size at 37.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. Many watches from this era tended to be on the smaller side so this larger size is a little more unusual, and more in line with today’s fashions. The case is stainless steel and it has the Vulcain name inside the case back. The case has some scratches to the back but otherwise is in good condition for such an early piece.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has some darkening and marking but what great vintage appeal, and you can be sure your friends won't have one! A great piece of social history.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
