An antique silver Omega pocket watch with chain.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two to three minutes over 24 hours. The movement is marked with the Omega logo. There is a protective inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Swiss hallmarks inside both of the back covers. There is some unevenness to the back of the watch case but other than that, the case is in good condition.

The watch glass is in good order.

The white enamel dial has four hairline cracks, three of which are very faint and really only visible through a magnifying loupe. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch comes with a silver chain by the Liverpool based silversmith Joseph Sewill. It is hallmarked for 1896. The chain measures 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp and comes with a bloodstone and carnelian swivel with the same hallmarks as the chain, and an assortment of four Victorian coins.
