Gents 1940s Smiths Wrist Watch, Made in England

Description

Gents 1950s Smiths wrist watch, Made in England.

The watch has a hand-winding movement, with 15 jewels, which is ticking away and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours.

The watch measures 30.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is in good condition and the lugs are a particularly handsome feature.

The signed dial is in good condition. It has slightly raised numbers, subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new dark brown leather strap has been fitted.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
