The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is signed with the B&Co mark … Baume & Co (Albert Baume) were the importers of Longines to Britain and the Commonwealth. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The movement would have been imported and then subsequently cased with a gold plated case by the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just light surface marks. The plastic lens is in good condition.

The white enamel dial is in lovely condition and has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with a later watch chain, 28cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
