The movement is signed American Waltham, Watch Co and it has the serial number 9769213 which dates it back to 1900. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 48.2 mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The full hunter case is stamped Gold Filled guaranteed to wear for five years. The case has light surface marks from use and some small indentations, or ‘dings’ to the case (mainly to the back).
The glass lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed American Waltham U.S.A. The dial has a faint hairline crack to the edge between 11 & 12 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
