Very Pretty Walnut Lenzkirch Mantle Clock

Description

A very pretty walnut and ormolu bracket/mantle clock of small proportions with lovely enamel dial by renowned German clock makers, Lenzkirch. No: 916993. Circa 1890 - 1900

Approximate height: 7.5 inches

In excellent condition throughout - case truly excellent and dial blemish free. In full working order.

Lenzkirch clocks were regarded as the Rolls-Royce of the Black Forest Clockmakers...Lenzkirch clocks were of such fine craftsmanship, wonderful ornamentation, and superb "in-house" design and production that they rank at the top of all German-made clock makers.

Lenzkirch clocks retain a worldwide reputation for excellence to this day and the values have consistently increased amongst collectors.
