Description

Antique 1902 silver Waltham Traveler pocket watch.

The watch has a stem winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is signed American Waltham U.S.A. Traveler and the serial number 11270146 which dates the watch to 1902.

The watch measures 51.2 mm diameter excluding the stem and crown. The silver case was made by the Illinous Watch Case Co, Elgin, U.S.A. and is stamped sterling silver United States Assay 925/1000 fine. The silver case is in nice condition with only light surface marks from use.

The glass watch lens has faint surface marks although very acceptable.

The dial is signed Waltham and is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel hands.
