Fine Regency Mahogany Bracket Clock (London, C. 1825)

19th century
Description

A fine mahogany timepiece bracket clock, dating to the Regency period. It has a lancet shape case with geometric brass inlay , turned brass columns and military style banding around a stepped base, with brass ball feet and arched brass fish scale fret side grills. The convex 7 inch dial has decorative pierced hands and is signed by the maker, Thomas Vine of London. It has a single fusee timepiece movement with an anchor escapement.

Current Condition

The case is in good original condition. The movement has been cleaned, and fully serviced (which includes pivot polishing and bushing) in our own workshops and is guaranteed for 12 months. If you would like a 360 video clip of this clock please email us.
