The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.

The watch measures 30.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1959 together with the case maker’s name of Aaron Dennison. The back of the watch has a presentation engraving. There are some scratches to the back but they are reasonably light.

The signed dial is in its original finish although it has darkened with age and it has freckling across it. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a vintage Garrard presentation box. It has a few marks but still nice to have.
