The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The movement has the Rotary wings logo which was introduced in 1925.

The watch measures 21mm wide excluding the winding crown and 30mm high excluding the fixed lugs. As it is a smaller size, it would suit either a man with a slim wrist or it could be worn by a lady. The case is rose gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Glasgow (import mark), 1933, together with an importer’s mark for Sylvain Dreyfuss.

Rotary was established in 1895 by Moise Dreyfuss in Switzerland. By the 1920s Georges and Sylvain Dreyfuss began importing Rotary watches to Britain, which was to become the company's most lucrative market. Rotary is still owned by the Dreyfuss family and Robert Dreyfuss, the great grandson of Moise Dreyfuss, is the chairman.

The dial is in its original finish; there is some discolouration commensurate with its age but it is still very easy to read the time. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A new brown leather strap has been fitted.
