The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is signed with the Limit name and is protected by an inner hinged dust cover. The cover has a personalised engraving from the Milling Section of Singer Co (Singer sewing machines), December 1929.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from Dennison, the English watch case manufacturers. The movement would have been imported from Switzerland to be cased and retailed in the UK.

The plastic lens is in good condition.
The signed enamel dial looks good to the naked eye there are three very faint hairline cracks which are difficult to see with the naked eye.
