The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1923, with a maker’s mark for the English watch case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in lovely condition for its age with just light surface marks.

The watch glass is in good condition.
The enamel dial has a couple of hairline cracks radiating out from the centre. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
