Antique Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is good to within around two minutes over 24 hours. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The movement would have been imported from Switzerland to be cased (by Aaron Dennison) and retailed in the UK. The case is gold plated and the condition is good with just a small indentation to the back and light surface marks.

The winding stem pushes down to release the front cover. The watch has a plastic lens which is in good condition.

The enamel dial has a little nibble to the centre but it is not very noticeable to the naked eye. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
