The movement is signed Omega and it has the serial number 4,414,763 which dates it back to around 1914/15. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for London (import mark), 1917 with an importer’s mark of SA for Selling Agency (watch importers) and the early Omega mark. The case is in good condition for its age with just a little unevenness to the back and evidence of an earlier thread-through style strap. The winding crown is a later replacement.

The plastic lens is in good condition.
The enamel dial has some damage by number 8 and few faint hairline cracks. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
