The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1900s.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Chester 1907, with a maker’s mark of SY for the Coventry based watch case maker Samuel Yeomans. The front of the case is in good condition; the back has a few small indentations.

The plastic lens is in good condition.
The dial is in good condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes with an antique silver watch chain which measures 32cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. The chain weighs 64g so it is a good weight.
