A Vintage 1940s Gents Record Hand Winding Wrist Watch.

Description

A vintage 1940s gents Record hand winding wrist watch.

The watch has a hand winding movement which is ticking away nicely and the time keeping is within 2 - 3 minutes over a 24 hour period. The movement is stamped Record and the calibre number 022K.

The watch measures 33.8 mm diameter excluding the winding crown and 42 mm high including the lugs. The plated case has mainly worn back to base metal although it has a great vintage look. The case back is stainless steel and has surface marking from use.

The plastic watch lens has the odd minor mark but overall it is in nice condition.

The dial is signed Record Watch Co. GENF. The dial has some age related surface marking but overall it is in nice condition for its age.

The watch has its original steel hands.

A new black leather strap has been fitted.

Price includes worldwide postage.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
