The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The movement is signed Am Watch Co, Waltham, Mass, Bond St and it has the serial number 18,454,787 which dates it back to 1912. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover. The winding crown is a little stiff to pull up but is fine.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The English made gold plated case has minor surface marks but all very acceptable for an antique piece (there is some black reflection from the camera showing on the photos).

The plastic lens is in good condition.
The white enamel dial is signed Waltham, USA. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There are a couple of short hairline cracks but barely noticeable to the naked eye.
